Level 4 Award in the Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (IQA)
£595 vat inc.
This qualification has been developed for qualified and experienced teachers who undertake formal observations of colleagues delivering teaching or training sessions particularly those who manage a team of observers.
Learners will develop skills and knowledge in undertaking teaching, training and learning session observations and post observation feedback processes. Individuals who already have observation experience will still benefit considerably from completion of this course and the achievement of the qualification because it provides recognition of their skills.
The qualification contains one mandatory unit: ‘Observation of Teaching and Learning’. This unit covers a range of topics including different types of observations that can be undertaken, using judgement criteria, observation protocols, giving observation feedback and moderation procedures after observations.

You must be able to conduct three observations on three different colleagues during your time on the qualification. The observations each must last for one hour and you must complete an Observation Report for each observation.
Once you have completed your course you will receive a hard copy and digital copy of your certificate. There are no additional fees for certificates except for replacement hard copies which will cost £30.
